This project was made for MI 247 during the fall semester of 2024. Using Unity, Blender, and Substance Painter, I used tools all across the board from modeling, animation, terrain, VFX, particle systems, shaders, texturing, and so on to make the level happen.

Made possible my Andrew Dennis demos,  and free MSU and Unity assets like the third person controller. 

For some reason my character drank way too much caffeine and won't stop jumping once you start, but hey, I guess he's just so excited to be trapped on that island. The theme is to be a bit of an island one, and I tried to do a bit of environmental storytelling with rocks that have some huge beast marks on them.

WASD to move around, space to jump (be careful, are you sure you want him to start?), and mouse to look around


I have 5 out of 6 additional assets, being a tree, bush, rock, pedestal, and circular rock with the beast mark in it. Although not models or anything, I also used a package called "Deform" and my own particle system to make the water wavy and have sort of a mist splash on the edges.
